Wonder, a mealtime platform that acquired Grubhub last year, is allowing customers to order from Grubhub’s restaurant partners through the Wonder app, alongside existing options from Wonder’s own restaurants and Blue Apron meal kits.
The change positions Wonder as a single platform for multiple meal formats, including delivery, meal kits and heat-and-eat meals, said Courtney Lawrie, senior vice president and general manager at Wonder.
“Wonder is the only platform that guarantees to satisfy every craving, without compromise and regardless of format, channel, or daypart,” she said in a company press release. “Bringing local restaurants to the Wonder app is a massive step forward in our brand’s evolution.”
Wonder’s menu features cuisine from a variety of chefs, including Bobby Flay, José Andrés and Marcus Samuelsson, alongside restaurants such as Tejas Barbecue and Di Fara Pizza. With Wonder’s first-of-its-kind multi-restaurant ordering, customers can mix and match dishes from multiple chefs and restaurants in a single order.
Wonder has also refreshed its branding, which includes a new logo, a bolder color palette and a confident brand voice designed to reflect the emotional satisfaction of a great meal, Lawrie said.
Wonder, which has over 50 locations, owns Blue Apron, Grubhub, Relay and Tastemade.
