Ou La La by Elie Duverger

A vibrant, spicy Margarita-style highball by Epula’s Elie Duverger. It balances the earthy notes of Reposado tequila and Ancho Reyes chili liqueur with the floral sweetness of elderflower and fresh, house-made watermelon juice.

Glass: Highball
Garnish: Tajín rim + 2 fresh mint leaves
Method: Shake & Strain

Ingredients

30ml Casamigos Reposado Tequila

12ml Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur

15ml St Germain (Elderflower Liqueur)

30ml Fresh Watermelon Juice (House-made)

20ml Fresh Lime Juice

2 dashes Habanero Bitters

Method: Step-by-Step

Prep the Glass: Moisten the rim of a chilled highball glass with a lime wedge and dip it into Tajín spice to create an even coating. Fill the glass with fresh ice.
Combine: Add the tequila, Ancho Reyes, St Germain, watermelon juice, lime juice, and habanero bitters into a cocktail shaker.
Shake: Fill the shaker with plenty of ice and shake vigorously.
Strain: Fine strain the mixture over the fresh ice into your prepared highball glass.
Garnish: 2 mint leaves to serve.
