Southwest Turkey Burgers with Zucchini

Dish & Tell Team

Moist turkey and zucchini patties with chili powder, cumin, garlic, and onion in burgers with lettuce, tomato, guacamole, and chipotle mayo!

Burgers are a classic summer food and these Southwest turkey burgers are a tasty favourite. Turkey is a good option for burgers and because it can be on the dry side, I like to add shredded zucchini which helps keep the patties nice and moist when cooked! The seasoning in these burgers is a simple Southwest blend of chipotle chili powder, paprika, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Cheese is optional and I like a nice pepper jack or cheddar which is melted on top of the patties after they are cooked. You can choose any burger toppings that you like and I usually go with lettuce, tomato, guacamole, and chipotle mayo!
