Jimmy John’s has opened its second Canadian location inside Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls. The opening is part of a rapid expansion plan to open 12 stores across Canada by the end of the year.
The next locations are expected to open in Winnipeg, Ottawa, Edmonton, Barrie and Windsor, along with additional locations in the Greater Toronto Area.
“We have a big appetite for opening new stores because we know how much our fellow Canadians appreciate a fantastic-tasting sandwich with fresh ingredients,” Peter Mammas, the Canadian franchisee spearheading the brand’s expansion, said in a company press release. “We’re always on the hunt for the world’s best food brands and are committed to making these available right here in our country.”
Jimmy John’s menu features a mix of cold and toasted sandwiches made with premium meats and freshly sliced vegetables on bread baked in-house daily. The menu also includes the carb-conscious “Unwich” lettuce wrap and Jimmy Chips.
Mammas said the company is working with Fallsview Casino to organize a grand opening celebration in September.
The location is at 6380 Fallsview Blvd., Concourse Unit C2.
