This Stained Glass Fudge is tasty and festive!!
It’s not your run-of-the-mill fudge, so it makes great holiday gifts.
Some of my first memories of the holidays were of my mom cutting out colorful rectangles of cellophane. She’d tape them on the windowpanes of our living room so at night they’d look like stained glass. That’s exactly what I thought these squares of colorful white chocolate fudge looked like as I sliced them.

How to Make
Line a 9 x 9-inch pan with non-stick foil.
Melt white chocolate melts with sweetened condensed milk and salt over low heat, then add vanilla and chopped gumdrops.
Spread into pan, cover, and chill.
Remove from pan using the foil as a sling and cut into squares.
Store in a covered, airtight container.
Frequently Asked Questions
Fudge is a creamy, semi-soft candy most often made of sugar, butter or cream, and flavorings, according to the Food Lover’s Companion. It can be cooked or uncooked, plain or filled with nuts, chocolate chips, candies, dried fruit, etc. The most popular flavor is chocolate.
The high sugar content inhibits bacteria, so fudge will last a long time. It’s good for about two weeks in an airtight container at room temperature, a month in the refrigerator, and three or more months in the freezer.
Yes, fudge freezes well. Just make sure it’s wrapped well so it doesn’t dehydrate. If you freeze it before cutting it into squares, it will fare better in the freezer. Defrost in the refrigerator before serving
