A tasty sandwich with ranch seasoned chicken, ranch dressing, bacon, lettuce, tomato, jalapenos and cheese!

Chicken, bacon, and ranch is such a good flavour combo and it works so well in may different ways, including in a sandwich! This sandwich starts with ranch seasoned chicken that’s thrown into bread (or buns) along with bacon, ranch dressing (link), lettuce, tomato, pickled jalapenos (link), and cheese! This tasty sandwich is perfect pretty much any time and I particularly enjoy it in the summer for picnics and cookouts!

A tasty sandwich with ranch seasoned chicken, ranch dressing, bacon, lettuce, tomato, jalapenos and cheese!

ingredients

1 pound boneless and skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite sized pieces
2 tablespoons oil (or mayonnaise)
1 tablespoon ranch seasoning *
1 large ciabatta (or 4 buns/rolls) (gluten-free for gluten-free)
1/4 cup ranch dressing (link)
4 leaves lettuce
1/4 cup pickled jalapenos (link)
1 large tomato, sliced
8 strips bacon, cooked
4 slices havarti cheese (or jack, or cheddar, etc.)

directions

Mix the chicken oil, and ranch seasoning and let sit, covered, in the fridge, for 20 minutes to overnight.
Cook the chicken in a large pan over medium heat until cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.
Assemble the sandwich with the buns, ranch dressing, lettuce, pickled jalapenos, tomato, bacon, and cheese, slice and enjoy!

Option: *Make ranch seasoning with: 1 teaspoon dried parsley, 1 teaspoon dried chives, 1 teaspoon dried dill, 1 teaspoon onion powder, and 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Option: Add 1 avocado, sliced.
Option: Add 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, thinly sliced.
