Checkers & Rally’s has opened a restaurant in Tolleson, Arizona, marking the brand’s 11th location in the state.

The restaurant, located at 205 N. 99th Ave., is operated by franchisee Keith Gallagher. This is the third location for Gallagher, a retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel who served 28 years as a master navigator before transitioning into corporate finance and franchise operations, according to a press release.

The Tolleson site features the company’s signature double drive-thru format and a patio-focused footprint designed for operational efficiency. Gallagher said the model’s focus on speed and consistent food quality were primary factors in his continued investment with the brand.

“We’re proud to open our third Checkers & Rally’s in Arizona with a brand that aligns closely with how we like to operate,” Gallagher said in the release. “The model is efficient, the food quality is consistent, and the bold flavors keep guests coming back. With the double drive-thru format designed for speed and convenience, we’re confident this location will resonate with the Tolleson community.”

Robert Bhagwandat, senior director of franchise development for Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, said the expansion is part of a broader national growth strategy centered on partnering with experienced operators.

“Keith exemplifies the type of dedicated, growth-minded partner we value,” Bhagwandat said in the release. “His leadership, operational discipline and commitment to our brand will drive success in Tolleson. As we expand nationwide, we will continue partnering with entrepreneurs who share our passion for delivering bold flavor and exceptional value to communities across the country.”

Based in Tampa, Florida, Checkers & Rally’s operates hundreds of locations across the U.S., utilizing a streamlined kitchen configuration and AI-driven tools to manage guest orders.
